Register for the Science Fair

The Twain Science Fair is happening on March 13, 2025! Our Science Fair is an opportunity for all Twain students to be curious, ask questions, and test their predictions! This PTSA-sponsored event is not a competition, but a chance for Bobcats to learn and have fun by following the scientific method through experimentation.

A big bobcat thank you to NW Arts Program Lead Nicki Schulman! Thank you for all you do for the Twain Community. And a special thank you to Malaika Siliker for all of her support to help make this program a success.
Nicki Schulman and Malaika Silliker led all the NW Arts lessons for our students this year. This unique program enabled our students to experience an art museum at Twain! This year, over the course of two lessons, they viewed and discussed an exhibit featuring Nature in Art.

At Thursday's PTSA meeting, members voted to approve the Sand Digging Station Playground Proposal. We will soon begin fundraising for this $40,000 capital project. If you'd like to learn more, please view the slideshow that we shared at the meeting.

One of the favorite events of the year is next week! The Scholastic Book Fair will take place during the January conference week, from January 28 - 31.
We are in need of volunteers for this event, please click here to view the openings!
To shop at the Fair, drop by the Twain library in the morning or afternoon on those dates. There is something for everyone: picture books, early- and older-chapter books, nonfiction options, books in Spanish, graphic novels (and maybe a fun pencil or two). Families will also have the option of buying and donating a book from the teachers' wish lists. Read on for exact book fair hours.

Our amazing Staff Appreciation Hostesses with the Mostest(es), Katti Swanson and Audrey Adler, have been on fire this fall, coordinating so many wonderful Staff Appreciation events including Snack Bar, Baked Potato Bar, Soup and Salad Bar and the always delectable Cookie Box Gifting event. We can’t keep up with these two!
