Our amazing Staff Appreciation Leads, Katti Swanson and Audrey Adler, have been on fire, coordinating many wonderful Staff Appreciation events - most recently the November Soup and Salad Bar and the always delectable December Cookie Box Gifting event. 

We have also been blown away by the generosity of the many families that have stepped up to contribute to all these great events...

PTSA Budget Committee Volunteers Needed

Join us for our one-time PTSA Budget Committee meeting on May 11, 2026 in the PTSA portable at Mark Twain. We’re looking for a few volunteers to help review and shape next year’s PTSA budget.

Thank You, Vision & Hearing Volunteers

On Tuesday, December 2nd, volunteers helped Nurse Jess and her team of LWSD nurses with this year's Vision and Hearing screening. We were able to screen approximately 302 students in just under two hours. Way to go team!

5th Grade Movie Night Fundraiser!

Join us for a festive 5th Grade Movie Night at Mark Twain Elementary on Thursday, December 11th! We’ll be showing the holiday favorite Elf in the school cafeteria - a fun evening for families and friends to enjoy together.

This special event is hosted by the PTSA and the 5th Grade Class to raise funds for their Spring Camp sleepaway field trip and other PTSA programming. Students are working hard to reach their goal, and with your support, we hope to exceed $5,000 at Movie Night!
