Mark Twain PTSA is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) parent, teacher, student association.

Our mission is to be a strong voice for children and a resource for our families, school, and community. We will do this by supporting programs and activities that advocate for children's well-being and enhance our school community.

Vote YES on Propositions 1 and 2!

During the Jan 22 General Membership meeting, Twain PTSA membership voted YES to support and endorse Proposition 1 and Proposition 2 to fund the gap between what our state and federal government provides and what our schools require. To learn more before casting your ballot, please visit www.lwsd.org/2026-levies.

Learn about upcoming events and  programs. We will have guest speakers from the district in attendance to present information regarding the 2026 levies and we will have a vote on whether the PTSA would like to support the levies.

Winter EZ Grant Submissions due Jan 30

In support of our primary goal to support education, Twain PTSA regularly awards money to offset classroom expenses and fund academic enrichment through the EZ Grant program. Twain students, families, and educators are welcome to apply for funding.

Winter applications are due Friday, Jan 30, 2026. A final funding round may be offered in April 2026, pending availability of grant funds. This past year, EZ Grants have funded small percussion instruments, Battle of the Books titles, literacy tools for 2nd grade and a microphone/speaker for SEL lessons in the cafeteria.
