Suggest a Safety Project Idea for Our Neighborhood

Do you have an idea or suggestion that could improve safety in our neighborhood? Have you thought of ways to make it safer for children to walk or bike, or areas that could use clearer crosswalks or better lighting? Share your ideas with North Rose Hill Neighborhood Association (NRHA) for Kirkland’s 2025 Neighborhood Safety Program (NSP) by Monday, December 1, 2025.

Here are some of the project categories:

• Bike Facilities: Bike lanes or trails
• Crosswalks: New crosswalks, ADA ramps, crosswalk islands (Note: No Rapid Flashing Beacons)
• Intersections: Better signage, parking adjustments, pedestrian bump-outs
• Traffic Calming: Radar speed signs
• Walkways & Trails: Gravel paths, steps, curbs, traffic markers
