Block Party Area Captains Needed by June 6

URGENT: We NEED YOU! Without volunteers, there is no Block Party. We need Area Captains to RSVP by June 6th, otherwise we won't have a Block Party next year.

Do you bring the Good Times? Are you the Life of the Party? Do you consider yourself a Champion of Fun? Consider being a Block Party Captain!

Be part of the action and activities as we party into the new school year! We need YOU to make it happen! Your dedication and enthusiasm will provide one of the biggest school year highlights for your children and their friends at Mark Twain. You will become one of your child's biggest heroes (just kidding, you already ARE).

As a Block Party Captain (BPC), your role will be involved with the planning and management for your activity, from pre-event through execution. There will be 3 Zoom planning meetings in July and 3 in August.

You will be the contact for the vendor you are working with and will be onsite pre-event. If you are doing sales/advertising/fundraising, your work will be more planning focused and most of your time will be spent in pre-event planning and development.

As a Captain, you'll still have time to enjoy Block Party, but you will need to periodically check in with your vendor and volunteers. Be the Life of the Party and champion your time as a Block Party Captain! Contact: kim@twainptsa.org or (203) 273-5651 to onboard the Block Party Ship!

Food Trucks (Grill Master) --FILLED

Fundraising Captain

PTSA Table Captain

Quiet Area

Raffle Token Table

Volunteer Check-in

Please know if you want to "Co-Captain" with your spouse or friend, you are welcome to sign up as a a team.
